It is always good to go on a RSPB SE Herts Group coach trip and despite the best efforts of the recent storm this long planned event went ahead, even though the weather was poor. First stop was Hunstanton, and we managed to see a couple of Fulmars though too distant for shots. The beach held a large number of Oystercatchers.

A couple of Turnstone were also present.

On to Titchwell and we spotted at least two Brambling near the feeders.

With the tide going out and the rain heading in, we decided to head straight for the Beach, but did spot this pair of Teal, a Red Breasted Merganser and a Curlew on the way.

The beach yielded a few species of wader including Ringed Plover, Dunlin, Sanderling, Grey Plover, Turnstone, Oystercatcher and a couple of Bar Tailed Godwits.

With the weather getting worse, it was time to head back to the hides and I managed to get a few more shots including Shelduck and Avocet.

So despite the weather, an enjoyable trip with over 60 species recorded.
